19-year-old shot and killed on South Side

Chicago police are looking for two people who shot and killed a 19-year-old male on the city’s South Side.

Police responded to a shooting around 7 p.m. Sunday, in the 8400 block of S King Dr in the Chatham neighborhood.

A neighbor says she saw two people chasing Marcus Turner. She then heard two shots, and Turner dropped to the ground.

He was hit in the chest multiple times.

Turner was pronounced dead on the scene according to police.

This is Chicago’s 11th homicide for the year and 10th fatal shooting.
