Glass blowing tips from Chicago’s Ignite Glass Studios

Pearl Dick is the director of Ignite Glass Studios’ Hot Shop and Education. Pearl has more than 14 years of working glass experience with an extensive background in art education. She graduated from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, studied abroad at Perugia, Italy and launched a career featuring a multitude of solo and group exhibits and public art installations across the country.

Trish Tullman a diversity educator, believes that unique and powerful opportunities for social progress and equity and inclusion lie in creativity and supporting the community. Trish and her husband, Glen, support the arts, diversity and a range of philanthropic initiatives such as Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation; City Year Chicago, a national organization to build democracy through citizen service; and Facing History and Ourselves, a professional development organization for educators to combat discrimination and injustice.
