Vets’ experience helps in wake of hurricane

Helping others, saving themselves could be the unofficial motto of the remarkable disaster relief organization that is Team Rubicon.

Its military veteran volunteers are seeing real benefits from working with victims of Hurricane Sandy. And helping on the East Coastmay be easing the symptoms of PTSD- and cutting an epidemic suicide rate among America’s veterans.

    This was a great story, thanks for sharing, as I have now shared it and hope more people will learn about your cause. The News needs to report more stories like this one. Our society is not all about guns, corrupt politians, killings, we care and can make a difference. Non-profits all over the country are making our communities a better place, filling the need the government can't or won't fulfill, let's near about them.
