Nelson Mandela treated for lung infection

More details are being released on the health of Nelson Mandela.

Authorities in South Africa say the 94-year-old is being treated for a lung infection. It was reported that Mandela was taken to a hospital over the weekend, but details on his ailment had not been released.

In a statement from the office of South African President Jacob Zuma, tests showed Mandela was suffering from a recurrence of a previous lung infection. Mandela is reportedly responding to treatment.

Mandela has not been seen in public since South Africa Hosted the World Cup in 2010.
