A vigil was held Tuesday night on the southwest side for a teenage girl shot and killed last night.

A crowd of family and friends gathered to remember Porsche Foster who was shot and killed in what police are calling a gang-related shooting in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood.

15-year-old Porsche was shot while hanging out with friends in a backyard.  Investigators say it appears to be another case of a gang member shooting and killing the wrong person. Shot in the back, she managed to make it to a nearby home before collapsing, but was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ before her family could get there.

Porsche was a Sophomore at Ace Technical Charter High School with dreams of becoming an architect. She was a month shy of her 16th birthday.

No suspects are in custody.

Community activist Andrew Holmes is urging anyone with information to come forward.
