Murder charges are expected to be filed Wednesday in the shooting deaths of two brothers in Gary.

Shaqwone Ham, 19, and his brother Charles Wood, 18, were gunned down Sunday, while they walked to their grandmother’s house for dinner.

Police have a 17-year-old in custody, and are searching for a 16-year-old.

Investigators believe robbery was the motive.

The suspects are accused of robbing another teenager just blocks away.

Police say neither the victims or the suspects have ever had run-ins with police before, and none of them are affiliated with a gang.

Two teens are accused of fatally shooting two brothers in Gary, Indiana.

Murder charged will be filed tomorrow against a 17-year-old and 16-year-old boy in the shooting deaths of 19-year-old Shaqwone Ham and his 18-year-old brother Charles Wood.

Ham and Wood were gunned down Sunday on  their way to their grandmother’s house for dinner.

Police say robbery may have been the motive.

Police say neither of the victims have has run-ins with Gary police or were had gang affiliation.

Police and  family members don’t understand why this happened.
