Police are on the hunt for the suspect in Wednesday morning’s sexual assault rampage on the far South Side.

A 43-year-old woman and her 22-year-old daughter were attacked in their home near 103rd and Emerald at about 4 a.m. Wednesday.

The suspect then assaulted a 14-year-old girl on her way to school in a yard at 100th and Peoria.

He attempted another assault of a 16-year-old girl in a nearby home, but her father chased him off.

Anyone with information is asked to call area police.

A Cook County Judge denied bail for an Indiana man charged with three rapes on Chicago’s South Side.
Terrell Rush of Lafayette, Indiana, appeared in bond court Saturday.
Prosecutors detailed the violent crimes, saying Rush broke into a home near 103rd and Emerald Avenue on October 9th, raped a woman and her  22-year-old daughter at knifepoint.
Later that morning, they say he broke into another home where he tried to assault an 11-year-old girl, but he was chased off by her father and their dog.
Rush then allegedly grabbed a 14-year-old girl who was headed to school,  raped and threatened to kill her.
Prosecutors say Rush’s DNA was on the knives used in the attacks.

A suspect is in custody in Lafayette Indiana and is awaiting extradition in regards to last weeks South Side sexual assaults, Chicago police confirm.

Police have released a sketch of the suspect in Wednesday morning’s sexual assault rampage on the far South Side.

Surveillance cameras also caught a glimpse of the attacker, as he left the area of 103rd and Emerald.

The Guardian Angels are in the neighborhood this morning distributing flyers of the sketch. They hope to get it into as many hands as possible.

Police have released a community alert for a man suspected in three sexual assault cases all within a few hours Wednesday on the far South Side.

Police questioned a suspect, but released him late Wednesday night and re-issued the warning.

Chicago police have released a person of interest and reissued a community alert in two sexual assaults.

A 22-year-old daughter and her 40-year-old mother sleeping in their home near 103rd and Emerald when they say this man broke in a window around 4:15 yesterday morning.

A 14-year-old girl was raped  near 100th  and South Peoria around 6:45 this morning. The teen was walking to school when the attacker dragged her behind a house

Earlier. an 11-year old girl was nearly raped during a home invasion near 101st and South Green at 5:30 this morning.

Her parents are grateful they heard something and walked in before it was too late.

Police say the suspect is 6 feet tall and about 150 pounds with long black dreadlocks.  He was last seen wearing a dark shirt, blue jeans and dark sneakers.
