    A young Mississippi girl, thought to be the first child cured of the HIV virus, is infected with the disease after all. The child was born prematurely to a mother infected with the virus.     Churches across Chicago are offering training programs to teach their congregations about mental illness. The “Mental Health First Aid” program will use role-playing and simulations to demonstrate how to respond to a mental health crisis. Robert Skrocki , chair of Chicago’s Interfaith Mental Health Coalition, will lead classes in Mental Health First Aid to help people learn the risk factors and red flags of mental illnesses like anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other mental illnesses.     FDA: Oral numbing medicine for babies may cause serious injury, even death

    The Food and Drug Administration issued a warning against using over-the-counter oral numbing medications in children and babies. The gum-numbing medications contain local anesthetic ingredient’s that can lead to overdoses, causing serious injury in teething babies and toddlers, and may even lead to death, officials said.     The mother of a 4-year-old girl in California is helping to inspire young cancer patients like her daughter with the help of a popular doll. Four-year-old Grace Bumstead was given a chemotherapy barbie named Ella after she was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia. Ella is one of only six chemotherapy barbies who are bald and wear wigs.     Chicago Police are looking for the person who shot and killed a man in the River West Neighborhood. The 34-year-old man was in a car that hit a pole in the 1200 block of West Chicago Avenue just after midnight, police said.
