Englewood memorial honors victims of gun violence
CHICAGO — Englewood has a new memorial to the victims of gun violence.
Greg Zanis has built and installed more than 20,000 crosses around the country, with the names of gun violence victims.
His latest 100 crosses bear the names of Chicagoans who have been killed.
The group that put the project together says people must realize just how much is lost when someone is killed.
Sunday’s installation included a prayer and a reading of all the victims’ names.
