CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs announced Wednesday that they will be selling a limited amount of tickets for $10.
Sixty lower-level terrace seats will be available to purchase for each home game through an online lottery.
The program is called 10/Sixty Tickets in honor of Wrigley Field’s address at 1060 W. Addison Street.
“With the team’s continued success, Cubs tickets have become harder than ever to get,” Cubs President of Business Operations Crane Kenney said in a statement. “In the spirit of our ‘Everybody In’ campaign, the 10/Sixty Tickets program helps address the cost and limited availability of Cubs tickets.”
Fans can enter the lottery to purchase up to four tickets. Registration opens 48 hours before the game starts and closes 24 hours before first pitch. Fans randomly selected in the drawing will receive an email a minimum of 12 hours before the start of the game for their chance to buy tickets.
“Given the excitement and demand for the Cubs’ home opener against the Pittsburgh Pirates Monday, April 9, fans can register today through Sunday, April 8, at 1:20 p.m. CDT,” the statement said.
