Man exposed himself to child in Target restroom, police say

CHICAGO — Police issued a community alert Saturday after a man exposed himself to a young child in a Target restroom.

The incident happened shortly after 4 p.m. March 25 at the South Loop Target at 1154 S. Clark St., the Chicago Police Department said in a news release. A woman was with her young child in the women's restroom when a man walked in, claiming he needed to use the facilities. Police said the man then pushed into the child's stall and exposed his genitals.

Police described the suspect as a black man with a dark complexion in his 30s. He is roughly 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall and weighs 170 to 190 pounds. The man wore a red jacket, dark hat, gray pants and sunglasses, authorities said.
