Pedestrian struck by Metra train in Bronzeville

CHICAGO — A pedestrian was struck by a Rock Island District Metra train Monday morning.

It happened at about 8:45 a.m. near the 35th Street station in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood.

Trains were halted after the incident but are now moving again. Commuters should expect extensive delays.

No world yet on the condition of the victim.
