CHICAGO - The Chicago Animal Care and Control center celebrated its newly renovated facility on Saturday, June 17.

In addition to taking visitors on a tour of the new pavilions, staff held an open house pet adoption event hoping to give the animals a second chance at a loving home.

Renovations for the seven pavilions took nearly three years.
