Body recovered from Garfield Park lagoon

CHICAGO — Chicago police have recovered a body from the Garfield Park lagoon.

The body was discovered at about 1:40 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses say it appeared to be that of a male.

Investigators are on the scene.
