Person hit by train on the Orange Line in the South Loop

CHICAGO — A person was hit by a train at Roosevelt station after midnight Monday.

The person’s name has not been released.

The operator of that train was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

Orange and green line service was temporarily suspended between Halsted and the loop but is now running again.
