CHICAGO -- A $10,500 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the fatal shooting of a two year-old boy.
Ten business owners and former Chicago Bear Richard Dent have contributed to the cause.
Lavontay White was killed in an alley near Ogden and Kostner on Tuesday. He was in a car with his uncle, a man police say was a known gang member. The uncle's pregnant girlfriend was also in the vehicle.
The uncle died. The girlfriend was also shot, but survived.
She was on Facebook live when the shots erupted.
People gathered on Thursday evening near Ogden and Kostner for a vigil.
Lavontay’s death was Chicago’s third child murder in four days.
Over the weekend, 12-year old Kanari Gentry-Bowers was fatally shot; her killer hasn't been found.
And 11-year-old Takiya Holmes was the unintended victim of a gang shooting; police are holding her suspected killer.
