Photographer Julio Salazar was doing a photoshoot near the Bean Saturday when he noticed something special was happening right by him: a couple was getting engaged as the snow fell in Millennium Park.
“As I was shooting I noticed a proposal happening right next to me. I captured the moment with out them knowing,” Salazar said on Facebook.
After capturing a priceless photo of their special moment, Salazar was on a mission to locate the couple so they could get a copy of the image. After posting on Facebook asking for help, he was amazed by an outpouring of support as strangers volunteer to help him with his mission.
“I had no idea this would get this big,” Salazar said. “I was just asking a couple communities for help.”
After we shared the story and photo on our Facebook page, a friend of the couple recognized them and identified them as Jessica and Clay. Congratulations!
