CHICAGO — The winter storm has forced airlines to cancel more than 1,300 flights at Midway and O’Hare airports today.

Average flight delays at both airports are running about 15 minutes.

Snow is expected to continue through late tonight, possibly bringing several more inches on top of what we already have.

The airports are reminding passengers to check their flight status before heading for the airport.
