CONNELLSVILLE, Pa. --  A woman was not spreading holiday cheer as she drove around while blasting Christmas music -- she was spreading destruction and mayhem.

Mary Jo Smith, 47, was charged Tuesday with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and DUI.

Alan McCutcheon says he was setting up a Christmas light display outside of his home when Smith yelled "Merry Christmas" and made several passes with her Jeep through his yard.

State police say Smith attempted to hit the 64-year-old along with his wife and adult daughter.

The car hit the house, a pool, a pick-up truck, and another car.

No one was injured.

The ex-boyfriend says he had not been in contact with her in five years.

The joyride caused more than $500 in damage, leaving behind tire tracks, and a trail of broken lights and decorations.
