Man killed, another injured in Homan Square shooting

CHICAGO – One man is dead and another injured after a shooting on the city’s West Side.

Police say the two men were sitting in a parked car in the Homan Square neighborhood when two men from the car parked in front of them got out and started shooting.

It happened just after 2:30 Sunday morning in the 3400 block of West Harrison.

The man who died was shot in the head and body. He was 30 years old.

The other man was shot in the right arm and taken to the hospital in stable condition.  He is 31.

Area North Detectives are investigating.
