CHICAGO - Usually when it comes to high school football on Thanksgiving weekend, all the drama comes on the field.
During two days eight games are played to decided eight IHSA football champions. Usually enough transpired during the contest to make memories for a lifetime.
But this week the drama has been all off the field before the game even begins. The controversial finish between Fenwick and Plainfield North went all the way to court before finally the latter team was able to keep their overtime victory.
Beth Long of the Chicago Sun Times came on Sports Feed to discuss that along with the games taking place in Champaign this weekend with Jarrett Payton.
