CHICAGO --  The FBI is warning sports fans to make sure they're buying the real mccoy when it comes to World Series memorabilia.

They say to look for a batch size on any limited edition material, like photos, cards or displays.

For jerseys, buyers should pay close attention to details, like the stitching patterns to affix patches or nameplates.

If buying autographed items, research the player's autograph first, to ensure you're getting the real thing.
