Police seek suspect in sexual assault on DePaul campus

CHICAGO -- Police are searching for the suspect in a sexual assault at DePaul University.

Police say it happened in a parking lot in the 2200 block of North Sheffield early Friday morning around 2 a.m.

The female victim is not affiliated with DePaul. Police say she was grabbed off the street and pulled into the lot behind the student center.

DePaul Public Safety sent out an email to students within a few hours of the attack. There is very little information being released about the attack and there is no suspect description at this point.

DePaul Public Safety is asking anyone who may know anything about this attack to contact them.
