Local family farm is now producing duck eggs

In the Northern suburbs a family farm that specializes in producing pastured duck eggs has become so popular they can hardly keep up with the demand.

Duck Tail Farms located in Grayslake and has become the talk of the town. The farm has about 100 ducks and sales their pasteurized eggs for about $12 a dozen.  You can find them at the Radical Root Organic Farmers Market in Libertyville on the weekends. The eggs are also used on the menu at restaurants such as the Ad-Lib Geocafe in Lindenhurst and Inovasi in Lake Bluff.  For more information on Duck Tail Farms click here.
