CHICAGO – Chicago police have arrest a suspect in a hit and run that killed a man earlier this month on the North Side.

30-year-old Demetrius Frayzier is accused of hitting and killing 62-year-old Aliser Maldonado at the intersection of Western and Logan.

Maldonado was headed to work on the morning of November 3rd.  He was almost there when police say a 2005 Chrysler 300 blew through a red light and slammed into Maldonado’s Mazda.

Maldonado was dead at the scene.

Frayzier fled the scene, but was arrested earlier this week in North Center. He’s facing two felony charges.
