Target Corp. recalled approximately 127,000 LED gel cling window decorations that it says could pose a choking and battery ingestion hazard for children, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
The LED gel clings could break apart, revealing “the inner decal and LED/button battery compartment,” which could cause these dangers for children. The commission posted the recall Thursday.
The products in question include a green skeleton, pink skeleton, purple spider, purple and black cat, orange and black pumpkin and green and black bat. All bear the product number 234-25-0904 on their respective packaging. These items were only available at Target between August and September, and cost about $1.
No injuries have been reported, though the CPSC says consumers should move the gel clings away from spaces with children. Consumers can visit any Target store to seek a full refund for the products.
