GARY, Ind. -- Gary police are investigating a double homicide after two teens were found shot to death in a car.

The two victims were both 18-year-old.

It is still unclear what kind of dispute lead to their deaths.

The car was discovered in a parking lot of a Family Food Discount convenience store in the 700 block of E 49th St in Gary.

Authorities identified the victims as 18-year-old Zantrell Collins, and 18-year-old Koreena Ramos.  Both lived about a block away from where their bodies were found.

The store manager says the two were regular customers.

The Lake County coroner’s office ruled both deaths as homicides.

So far police aren’t saying what may have led to the shootings.

So far October has been a violent month in Gary, with at least seven killings.

Gary police say they have not arrested anyone in connection to this crime.  They’re asking anyone with information to contact the homicide unit.
