CHICAGO - Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville is considering breaking up his most dominant line.

In their first year together, Artemi Panarin and Patrick Kane flourished, scoring a combined 76 goals and tallying 107 assists.

But, Quenneville may want to spread the wealth, and split Panarin and Kane up to provide some balance.

"The chemistry amongst them is special," noted Quenneville following the Blackhawks 4-0 win over the St. Louis Blues. "They'll always be some shifts together. It's whether they'll be permanently together. That's something we'll evaluate."

Kane and Panarin picked up right where they left off last year tonight, connecting on the Blackhawks first goal of the preseason.

The Blackhawks will try to make it two in a row Sunday night in Detroit.
