Shooting incident prompts lockdown Rockford mall

ROCKFORD, Ill. —  A shopping mall was closed early after a shooting incident in Rockford.

Police say six people got into an argument inside the Cherryvale Mall when one of them pulled out a gun and started shooting.

The shooting apparently continued in the parking lot.

The Rockford-Register Star reports shell casings were found inside and outside of the mall.

No injuries have been reported.

Police are looking for all of the people involved.
