CHICAGO - It only took one practice for Rajon Rondo to make his presence known at Bulls camp.
The veteran point guard has bounced around the league, ruffling some feathers along the way, but coaches and players alike are gravitating toward his brains and his leadership.
"He's got the best voice on the team," noted Head Coach Fred Hoiberg. "When you have your point guard out there that can get you into something and talk the way he does that sets the tone for everybody."
"I'll tell you right now, I'll apologize to Rajon early - he's going to fake me out with one of those damn passes," laughed All-Star guard Jimmy Butler. "He's going to do something crazy and I'm going to take off to get back on defense and the ball going to be coming to me in the corner. It's just incredible because he sees everything. Like, 'Oh, the defender took the wrong step this way' and I'm like, 'Well, he's going to shoot a layup," but he wants you to get a basket. That's an incredible feeling. So, sorry Rajon. You are definitely going to get a turnover from me one game."
