Dog missing from Chicago firehouse found

CHICAGO – A Chicago firehouse dog that was missing for more than a month, is happily reunited with his crew on the South Side.

Two year-old "Bull" ran-off from Engine Company 116, Squad 5 at 59th and Ashland back on August 14th during a call.

A woman spotted the short-haired, Bullmastiff-hound mix with two men. The men returned the dog to the firehouse on Thursday. They claimed they didn't know the dog was missing.

"Bull" went to the vet, and showed no signs of abuse. He's in good health, but has lost about 20 pounds.

No other details were released about his return.
