The heroin crisis has created exponential growth in the for profit-treatment industry. But, the greater need has opened the door to greed.  Drug overdose is now the number one cause of accidental death in the United States. Families are desperate and recovery has become big business. “People need to know that there are so many different ways to get well, and that it doesn’t need to cost 50-thousand dollars,” said Kathie Kane-Willis, director of the Illinois Consortium on Drug Policy at Roosevelt University in Chicago.
