WGN's Marcus Leshock introduces us to a man in Downers Grove who hopes his unique commute to work inspires others to do something similar.
Sibu Joseph is an MRI Technician at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.
He is known as the "skateboarding MRI Tech" because he skateboards to work every day.
He says he feels like its his way to make a positive impact on the environment.
"It's a small thing I can do that keeps me connected with the earth, allows me to meet my neighbors and feel like apart of this neighborhood," Joseph says.
He learned to skateboard when he was 16, and decided to pick it up again a couple years ago. Joseph says he takes a tumble every so often, but he'll survive.
With the environment on his mind, Joseph says he hopes to inspire more people to think of different ways to get to work.
