Report: Bears sign Kyle Long to 4-year extension

CHICAGO – Kyle Long is set to make a lot of money.

According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Long and the Bears worked out a deal today to keep him in Chicago for the next four years and pay him $40 million.

The extension reportedly also guarantees the three-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman $30 million – the most among NFL guards.

Long has been battling a shoulder injury for much of the preseason but is expected to return this week.
