Mother survives car accident, then fatally shot minutes later

SOLON, Ohio -- A woman survives a car accident but police in suburban Cleveland say she was shot to death by the other driver.

Deborah Pearl was on her way to work last Saturday when witnesses say an SUV ran a red light and plowed into her car.

The SUV landed on its roof and the driver got out with a rifle.

Police say Mathew Desha walked over to the woman's car and shot her several times.

Pearl is survived by her husband and three grown children.

Desha told police he is a former Marine and suffers from PTSD after two tours in Iraq.

He is being held on $1,000,000 bail.
