CHICAGO -- A woman was rescued from the Chicago River Friday afternoon

It's still not clear how she got there, but fire officials believe she jumped into the river near State and Wacker.

Witnesses say two men in a passing boat saw her and jumped in to rescue her.

They managed to pull her onto their boat before firefighters and paramedics arrived.

One of the boaters who helped rescue the woman got so exhausted from the effort he also had to be treated.

Both he and the woman are doing okay tonight.
