CHICAGO - This is the time of the year that's exciting for a number of hockey fans in the United States and Canada.

Lately in Chicago it's been the exact opposite.

Due to the salary cap the Blackhawks usually have to dump a number of their stars to get under the money limit. This year forward Andrew Shaw and Teuvo Teravainen got shipped out of town to make some cap room and now the team continues to look for players to fill in the blanks for the 2016-2017 season.

Chicago Tribune beat reporter Chris Hine came on Sports Feed to discuss the team's offseason so far and what could happen between now and training camp. Before heading to Rio, he also talked about the upcoming Summer Olympics with Jarrett Payton and Josh Frydman.
