6 injured in North Lawndale shooting

CHICAGO — Six people were shot and wounded in the North Lawndale neighborhood Tuesday night.

It started shortly after 9 p.m. Tuesday as an argument among a group of men near the 1600 block of South Christiana. The argument escalated and six people were injured after shots rang out, according to  the Chicago Fire Department.

Police say all of the men are known gang members.

The CFD says several of them were able to drive themselves to the hospital. The rest needed ambulances. None of the injuries was life-threatening.
