NEWPORT, Va. — A woman in Virginia is accused of hitting a man in the face with a piece of frozen meat.

Police arrested Jacqueline James after responding to a domestic assault June 12.

Police say James was arguing with a man, when she took some frozen meat and hit him in the face.

The man suffered minor injuries.

Police say James told officers she was the one who was assaulted, but she was taken into custody.

Alcohol appears to be a factor.
