Crews respond to building collapse on North Side

CHICAGO — Crews are on the scene of a building collapse on the city’s North Side.

Officials say the roof collapsed on a building under construction on the 2500 block of West Hutchinson Street in Chicago’s Horner Park neighborhood.

The Chicago Fire Department and Chicago Building Department responded to the scene. The fire department said the building was under a rehab project.

The cause of the collapse is under investigation.

There are no reported injuries.
