Crews battle extra-alarm fire in Albany Park

CHICAGO — Crews were at the scene of a 2-11 fire on the city’s Northwest Side.

A fire broke out on the third floor of a courtyard building at 4014 N. Central Park Avenue in Chicago’s Albany Park neighborhood.

All the firefighters who were battling the fire were pulled out of the building due to safety concerns.

So far there is no word on injuries.

No. 80 buses are rerouted in both directions. Smoke can be seen from blocks away.
