World Blood Donor Day is Tuesday, June 14, and WGN-TV and Lifesource are holding a blood drive at our studios in honor of Lucas "Bear" Cervone.

Lucas was 5 years old when he passed away on May 1 surrounded by his loving family. During his short life, Lucas battled two forms of leukemia and along  the way, inspired hundreds of people to donate blood and join the bone marrow registry.
