Blackhawks release 2016 preseason schedule

CHICAGO – Fans still have to wait to find out when they’ll hit the ice for real, but at least now they know the first time they can see the 2016-2017 Blackhawks on the ice for the first time.

On Wednesday the team announced their preseason schedule for September and October.

The six-game slate comes against just three opponents as the Blackhawks will face the Blues, Penguins and Red Wings twice over the span of two weeks.

Pittsburgh will be the Blackhawks first preseason opponent as they visit the United Center on Wednesday, September 28th at 7:30 PM.
