PepsiCo Showdown MVP Maia Cella joins Sports Feed on Tuesday

CHICAGO - There are over 3,000 players who took part in the PepsiCo Showdown in 2016.

Only one was named an MVP. On Tuesday she made an appearance on Sports Feed to discuss the honor.

Evanston High School junior soccer player Maia Cella joined Jarrett Payton and Josh Frydman to discuss the honor earned over the past few months.

Cella helped her team to the IHSA Class 3A Sectional Final this season while scoring 18 goals and dishing out 15 assists. She has already committed to play her college soccer at the University of Wisconsin.

This weekend Cella was presented with the MVP belt at Wrigley Field by Cubs pitcher Justin Grimm.
