CHICAGO - For most of the still young 2016 season, the Cubs and the White Sox were heading in the same direction. That was straight up.
As May gets ready to turn to June, that is no longer the case.
Joe Maddon's Cubs are continuing their winning ways, moving 20 games over .500 with a sweep of the Phillies this weekend. Meanwhile the White Sox had a trio of implosions in the late innings as they were swept by the Royals in Kansas City and fell out of first in the AL Central.
Interesting how things turn so quickly, but again there are still a few months left in the season.
Brad Robinson of Newsradio 780 and the Illinois Radio Network came on Sports Feed on Sunday night to discuss both teams as they get ready to enter June.
