CHICAGO — One man was killed and another was injured in a shooting overnight, near a party bus on the Near West Side.

The men were standing outside the bus that they just ordered in the 1200 block of West Grenshaw Street, in the University Village neighborhood.

Police say someone in a dark-colored van pulled up at about 11:45 p.m. and fired at least 12 shots at them.

A dash cam on the party bus captured video of the van.

Friends drove the victims to Stroger Hospital, where a 21-year-old man died from gunshot wounds to his chest and stomach.

The other man, also 21-years-old, was hit in the arm. He survived and is in stable condition.

Police say the shooting was gang-related.

No arrests have been made.
