A mother in Harvey took action when she saw a boy on the street with a gun. Video of what she did has gone viral, and now she's being honored for taking a stand.

Stacie Davis stopped her car when she saw that boy carrying a gun down the street in Harvey last month. On the video, Davis tells the boy she knew him as a baby and she knows his mother.

Bishop Larry Trotter is presenting her with the "Mother of the Year Award" Sunday. The city of Harvey is also planning a special honor for Davis at the next City Council meeting.
