Police seek help in search for missing 17-year-old girl

CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Department is asking for the public’s help in the search for a missing teenage girl from the city’s North Side.

Police say Rania Shamoun, 17, west missing Saturday from the 2800 block of West Rosemont Avenue in the city’s West Rogers Park neighborhood.

Shamoun is described as white with an olive complexion, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 120 pounds. She has long blonde hair and brown eyes.

Police say she may be in the company of a Middle Eastern man, Hasib Muhamed, 24.

Shamoun was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
