Chicago fans, music community mourn loss of legendary Prince

CHICAGO -- Prince fans worldwide are still a little shocked by the artists death.

A vigil was held this evening on Chicago's North Side.

All things Prince are flying off the shelves at record shops across Chicago as fans across the area cope with the loss.

His albums were hard to find as it was, with his passing, Prince fans will be hard pressed to find much of anything on the shelves here.

Stations across Chicago also are honoring the music legend and celebrating his life.

All day, callers have been reaching out to share memories of Prince.   The iconic artist defied genres, so his songs are being heard today on a variety of stations.
