CHICAGO -- Chicago police are looking for suspects in connection with a series of armed robberies in the Bucktown in Wicker Park neighborhoods. While these robberies have occurred just blocks from one of the busiest intersections in the city, residents here say they're being extra vigilant.

The first robbery occurred in the overnight hours of April 11in the 1700 block of North Milwaukee. The second came just three days later in the 1700 block of W. North Ave.

In both incidents, three African-American men in their 20s have approached the victims and punched or hit them in the face, robbed them of money and personal belongings, then running away from the scene.

Many say they'll be extra cautious until the suspects are caught. Police are urging residents not to wear earbuds or talk on the phone, to be aware of suspicious activity, and not to walk or run alone.
